Blue Card Germany

The Blue Card aka Blue European Labour Card is an approved EU-wide work permit allowing high-skilled non-EU citizens to work and live in any country within the European Union.

The requirements for getting a blue card in Germany: University degree and the yearly salary must be more than 41.808 EUR. The blue card is limited to four years. You can speed up the process of getting the blue card when you present your working contract and university degree to the Arbeitsagentur.
From 53.600 EUR salary per year, you cannot speed up the process by the Arbeitsagentur. You have to go directly to the German embassy in your counry.

The blue card starts from 1stĀ of AugustĀ 2012.
