Lead of internal IT

This is what you’ll do:

  • You maintain your knowledge and insights into the latest support technologies in the field of hardware and software to be able to support the colleagues proactively and to achieve maximal knowledge sharing within the organization
  • You take quality, performance, and cost into account and make recommendations to the management and users regarding the best possible use of the IT infrastructure
  • In case of crisis situations, you proactively assist the IT team and the incident manager to determine the cause of the problem, suggest and implement solutions and clearly communicate with all stakeholders
  • Personnel planning, carrying out monthly performance assessments of the team and determining motivational incentives
  • Incident escalation management across IT to achieve KPIs
  • You are responsible for the company-wide communication regarding changes, failures, downtimes, deployments, and upgrades
  • You create reports and evaluations
  • You stimulate good collaboration with other departments, teams, and subsidiaries by communicating constructively with the employees and other team leads. You make sure everything is in place to provide a positive working environment and guarantee a smooth information flow.
  • You ensure that the system landscape is scalable
  • You will continue to develop the system architecture in our company through your specialist knowledge
  • You lead the IT team and thereby ensure that the software and hardware of your colleagues and in the office are always up-to-date and functional
  • You and your team take care of the configuration of servers and network devices

This is what you’ll bring to us: 

  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in IT or a comparable field or have completed your studies in computer science
  • You have profound professional experience in system administration and ideally, already lead a (small) team
  • You are an expert in the administration of the Microsoft Office 365 business family (SharePoint, Exchange, teams, etc.)
  • You know how to manage projects and how to keep the information flow to all relevant counterparts upright
  • Your mom and your friends call you as soon as they have a problem with their computer and perceive you as a real tech evangelist
  • You have knowledge about Networks
  • You have knowledge about Servers
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is a great plus
