This is what you’ll do:

  • Lead a small and effective team that concepts, designs, trials and implements the best Digital Workplace solutions to boost the collaborative productivity of team members
  • Take care about the Digital Workplace environment both virtually (based on Office365 and several SaaS) and in our physical offices in Frankfurt a.M. (Germany) and Manila (Philippines)
  • Strive to provide seamlessly working personal devices (computer hardware + software) and shared office infrastructure (printers, networks, IP-telephony, videoconferencing, …)
  • Find solutions that efficiently scale with our fast growth in business and organization through automation
  • Plan and manage a sustainable lifecycle for all systems of the Digital Workplace (hardware + software)
  • Coordinate and negotiate with Vendors and Managed Service Providers for out-tasking commodity IT services
  • Manage IT security standards if the Digital Workplace and compliance in terms of external regulatory and legal requirements
  • Ensure a high level of user account and credential security
  • Maintain your knowledge and keep up to date in the field of Digital Workplace solutions
  • Support team members proactively to enable for highest levels of knowledge sharing within the organization
  • Apply rational decision making and take quality/performance, cost and time into account when selecting solutions and giving recommendations to team members or leadership
  • Focus on the Return on Invest of Digital Workplace solutions
  • Seek to continuously improve the Digital Workplace and measure for performance indicators to improve
  • Stimulate good communication and collaboration across teams by acting as a role model

This is what you’ll bring to us:

  • Successful Bachelor’s degree in IT-related studies or equivalent apprenticeship in IT
  • Profound expertise in IT system administration for Microsoft environments, esp. Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, network devices (Cisco) and firewalls (WatchGuard-Firebox, Sophos)
  • Proven expertise in Systems Management (e.g. SCCM, Desktop Central), Endpoint Security and Patch Management solutions
  • Experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Communication
  • Basic experience in Vendor Negotiations
  • Basic experience in Hardware and Software/License Asset Management
  • Basic knowledge in TCP/IP networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, VoIP)
  • Ideally already lead a small team
  • Ideally experience in IT Service Management, working with Vendors, Managed Service Providers, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles
  • Analytical mindset, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pragmatic and doesn’t shy away to get ‘hands dirty’ in technical administration
  • Your family and friends want you to fix their computers 😉
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is a great plus
  • You have profound professional experience in system administration and ideally, already lead a (small) team
  • You are an expert in the administration of the Microsoft Office 365 business family (SharePoint, Exchange, teams, etc.)
  • You know how to manage projects and how to keep the information flow to all relevant counterparts upright
  • Your mom and your friends call you as soon as they have a problem with their computer and perceive you as a real tech evangelist
  • You have knowledge about Networks
  • You have knowledge about Servers
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is a great plus
