About the QA Test Engineer role:
Our airline customers operate in a very tough economic environment and our ability to build and deploy applications that can adapt quickly to their demands is one of our key competitive differentiators. The Technical Architect position is a key in our SaaS (Software as a Service) service as we look to build our next-generation platform.
This role is primarily focused on manual testing, however it is just as important to be able to make good use of the analytical skills, in order to elaborate on complex functional test cases.
Your responsibilities:
- Review client requirements – understand the proposed/implemented software solution for business requirements and acquire a complete and detailed understanding of the business/functional logic
- Develop manual test case scenarios and execute them
- Report and record all discovered errors/bugs
- Actively participate in team meetings
- Take part in all application development life cycle phases
- Work closely with the Product Owner, Developers and Testers in order to deliver the tasks in time and with the expected quality.
Your profile:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing
- Experience in designing and implementing testing scenarios
- Experience in testing web application is required, experience with microservices testing is a plus
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Application and/or technical knowledge
- Logic reasoning
- Able to meet deadlines and objectives without constant management
- English skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
